Carine Andries
Carine is a resource management professional who has over 12 years of experience with local government. During this time, she has worked for the Whangarei, Kaipara and Far North District Councils gaining expertise in the areas of resource consents, policy and reserves planning. Her experience has given her a comprehensive knowledge of council processes, along with an understanding of the common frustrations people can have with them. Using this knowledge to her clients’ advantage, Carine can assist in a range of ways. Whether you require support with due diligence, or to navigate through the red tape of the resource consent and plan change processes, Carine ensures she achieves timely and cost-efficient outcomes.
Carine is a registered member of the NZ Planning Institute, has a Master’s in Resource and Environmental Planning (Hons), a Business degree in Management and Communications, and a Certificate in Permaculture Design.
Placing great importance on professionalism, Carine values honesty, transparency and integrity. She enjoys building good rapport with clients and other professionals across the sector, leading to great communication, negotiation and consultation for you.
She is passionate about the natural environment, restoration of wetlands and forests, and leaving a small footprint. Along with her husband, she is developing a small holding, breeding cattle and sheep and turning some hillsides into food forests, all in line with organic and permaculture principles.
